Just to clarify, that's not a true statement for Hagerty (at least in the state of Illinois...your state may differ). I have insured my DeLorean through them since 2001 and I have always been covered to drive it to work. I can't drive it FOR work -- e.g., as a DeLorean taxi -- but I absolutely can and do drive VIN 6681 to work from time to time and am fully covered when doing so. > Posted by: "Marc Levy" malevy_nj@xxxxxxxxx > Fri Aug 27, 2010 11:38 am (PDT) > Perfect example, I drove my 66 Mustang to WORK today. if I had one > of those "Specialty" insurance companies, I would NOT BE COVERED > to drive it to work. (Sure, lots of people do, but you do so at your own risk). --- On Wed, 8/25/10, jtrealtywebspannet <jtrealty@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: >> From: jtrealtywebspannet <jtrealty@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> >> Date: Wednesday, August 25, 2010, 11:21 AM >> Companies like Nationwide are not the >> best place to go for coverage of a "Classic" vehicle.
