I have the exact same problem. Put in new oranges an two weeks later I am having hot start problems and the o ring has a big bite in it. Maybe we have fuel termites. I will put a new one in, drive the car and there will be a chunk taken out of it. Looking at the distributor from the rear of the car, the missing piece is at the 3 o-clock position. Has anyone experienced this? Is it time for a new distributor? Is the distributor something I can take apart to look into? I assume this is the cause of my hot start problem. > > Thanks > Steve > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > > > ------------------------------------ > > To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: > moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx > > For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com > > To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
