I have experienced this a couple of years ago. It was the cause of a frustrating hot start problem, due to the lack of holding pressure when hot. Every time it failed, a small chunk of the o-ring was missing. I went through about four of them within a week. It had all to do with the O-ring material. I forget where I bought the O-rings that failed, but they had a flat dull appearance. I then went to CAP autoparts, and asked them for fuel resistant O-rings. I matched their sizes as close to what I had, and I haven't had to change it since. The material in the good O-ring had a shiny slippery appearance instead of flat and dull. I am sure someone in the group will fill us in on the technical details of the material, but you should be able to easily remedy this with the right material. Paul Vin 10944 Paul A.
