My 6513 is covered under "Oldtimer" policies.
This requires the ownership of another "daily" vehicle.
Insurance policies depend on country, laws etc.

Typically oldtimer insurance policy is mileage per year, which is selectable from 1k up to whatever you think you will drive.
Mine is set to some 10k kms (approx 6k5 miles).
Besides that coverage can be from "liability only" (dictated by law) up to full All Risks coverage.
If  you decide to go for AR, have the car appraised by a registered assessor. Over here (The Netherlands) these appraisals have to be renewed each three years.
Insurance companies that have agreed upon the value of the appraisal are bound to pay that amount in case of a Total Loss.
