Thanks for answering that for me, I didn't want to be the one to say it, but yeah, that's it.

American style shifters are usually solid metal, wood, T-Handle, etc.

The "Euro" styles are usually ergonomic, carbon fiber, etc.

This is what was put on this car and I want the original.

I think I have made a deal for one BTW, so thanks!

Take a made-in-Taiwan, cheap accessory, add neon or fake carbon fiber and the cheesy aftermarket companies call it "Euro Style" over here.  Sorry.

I just picked up a 5-speed Delorean, my first!
I have always had automatics.
The previous owner had installed a euro style shifter, unmarked
and I couldn't figure out how to get it into reverse!! -LOL

Well, I am looking for an original shifter knob if anyone has
one for sale. Let me know!!!
