I wouldn't worry too much about a difference in price between an auto and manual. Back in 1981 I believe it cost about $650 more for an automatic. Today you will find that many people prefer to have a manual yet the prices are about the same. The advantage of an automatic is they are faster and more fun (my opinion) to drive. The main thing that will determine the price is the condition of the car. Keep in mind as well that a high mileage car has probably had more maintenance and upgrades than a low mileage car that has been in storage for almost 30 years. Good luck in your search.
