[DML] Gauge issues

I am having issues with my fuel and oil pressure gauges.  I replaced the fuel sending unit and my gas gauge still reads half full when empty.  My oil pressure reads mid scale when off and peaks out when engine is running.  My question is there a voltage stabilizer in this car that controls the gauges?  I can only assume the voltage is to high.  I am waiting on a service manual, but if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks
