Is this one of DMCH's new headlight switches? If so, http://www.delorean.com/pdf/headlightswitchinstF-20028-revised.pdf

should get you through it. 

In any case, the headlight switch should push out from the rear - it's just got some plastic "wedges" that hold it in. Mine are worn enough that I can tug it out forwards with some patience.
