Chris, I've been studying your picture of the hazard switch connection and will try to answer your questions. The purple wire should not be cut. It should connect to Fuse #6. The black wire that also connects to the purple inside the connector should go to a 2.2uf capacitor. From the capacitor, a yellow wire should go back to the socket in position #1 where there is also a light green/brown wire. Your ground wire is actually #7 in the socket and I can see it has also been cut. You need to connect that little stub of a wire to a good ground. It appears to me that someone thought that the black wire connected to the purple was ground, so they cut it. It is not ground. Your ground is the black wire in #7. Shouldn’t the Hazzard switch icon light up when the headlights are on either first/second mode?### http://i93.photobuc ket.com/albums/ l55/Chris_ Von_Bron/ HazardSwitchplug .jpg I take it that one of the wires above should have a feed to give illumination (purple although cut has a black feed back to the original purple wire). The black should be a ground, not sure why this has been cut? ] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
