Just a thought. I had a fuel pump that wouldn't work. I was told their could be a problem due to the rpm relay so I bypassed that. It still didn't work. I had an original old fuel pump and the inside was getting bad so I replaced the fuel pump. It still wouldn't work. I finally traced it down to the fuel pump ground which is grounded through the inertia switch under the driver side dash. The visual connection was good but the internal connection was bad. the pump would turn on when I moved it a little but not stay on so I replaced it. Has been working since. Checked all contacts in fuse box and relay. Every thing seems to be getting current. fuel pump wires have be splice to a fuse jumper. wires have current. relay has current, but current stops with wires going to fuel pump. I am stumped. Has anyone had this problem with there car. Also this is one of the 500 series which had a number of issues. Is there possibly an auxillary electrical connection I am missing? > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
