I got a chuckle myself as well when I watched the clip. I was wondering if anyone else from NJ had seen the car before. Hoping maybe he frequents British Car Shows in our area. I would like to show up with a few Deloreans and enlighten him :) Gary G Vin 3360 NJ --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, lordshill@... wrote: > > Gary.. Of course it was an inspiration as was the Bricklin. A total bunch of BS. The Bricklin looks alot like a Datsun 1969 240Z and where does it end? During the 70's and 80's many cars had the "wedge design" , even Triumph (TR7 I think). It seems the design it was very popular and I cannot believe that one influenced the other. I believe that the term I would use for claims like the one made by others to have inspired the Delorean is nothing more than wishful thinking. > Roy 00893 > > > -----Original Message----- > From: dmcgman <DmcGman@...> > To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Sent: Sat, Jan 2, 2010 11:57 am > Subject: [DML] Fiat - Delorean - BTTF Replica on Motorweek > > > > > I was watching Motorweek today and saw this clip about the Fiat Freak Out gathering in PA. It shows a Fiat Back To The Future Replica. He said the Fiat was the inspiration for the Delorean. Looks like the guy is form NJ. Anyone seen this car before? Here is a video clip of the segment. It shows up at about 1:55 second into the clip. > > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFSJsDFtdYs > > Gary G > Vin 3360 > NJ > > > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
