My Yukon is an "E-85" vehicle. I thought that meant I can use 15% Ethanol. WRONG! It means the thing will run on 85% E. And that doesn't count all of the other additives. Around here in NJ we are up to 10% already. We can't feed the world but we can put the stuff into our gas tanks. As for Deloreans, they can probably take 15% but it will eventually damage the rubber parts in the fuel system like the diaphram in the accumulator, "O" ring seals, pick-up hose, fill pipe hose, etc. I really don't see what choice we would have, in many parts of the country there is no non-E available unless you go to the airport!
