You can tow a Delorean on a tow dolly. There are some things to be careful about and you already mentioned some of them. Other things to consider are: The Delorean must be plated and insured The rear tires must be good and properly inflated You cannot tow an automatic unless you remove the two half-shafts You cannot back up In many States you are required to have recovery lights on the rear of the towed car. You do not need the ignition on and you can have the battery connected. You need to be careful and not take turns too tight. That being said, the rear of the car will track behind a moving truck for about 1200 miles. Besides the obvious (car in neutral, battery disconnected, ignition on, no E-brake), is there anything else I should be looking out for? I'd love to do the full carrier as I know that even though the car isn't being driven, its still 1200 miles of wear on the bearings and all parts that are moving; but price may be an issue. Any advice on this topic is much appreciated! -----Dani B. #5003 > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
