[DML] status on non-dmc12 delorean cars

Does anyone know of anything interesting regarding Delorean producing new 
cars that aren't the dmc12?  The Delorean Solstice project has been 
tatalizing us for some time along with talk of buying Pontiac or Saturn. 
What's new with that?  Has anyone at Delorean given serious thought to 
acquiring some possibly out-of-work automotive engineers and manufacturing 
space?
