Make sure also to discuss the topic or "liability" surrounding all of this. If you are publishing technical information/repair steps and someone is injured or property damaged due to the info being wrong (or more likely them just not following steps properly) you want to make sure you are covered by insurance and have a fairly solid disclaimer on any/all information you post. I know you are discussing insurance costs in general with the board. We managed to get a good policy at a decent price from Grundy Worldwide to cover the DMA, its officers, and its members. It is specifically a policy for car clubs. You might want to compare their coverage and pricing to whomever the DOA is currently using. I like the idea, but am interested in what incentives we can or should offer to people for their contributions to such a committee. I believe we'd need one in order to maintain consistency within such a group. -Josh [moderator snip] ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
