Hi Mike,

 

Right now, our Board meetings are only open to Association members.
(another transparency issue in my opinion)  I'd like to change this, but if
we can't make the Board meetings open to the public, we should at least
provide documented minutes of the meeting, so that people can see we're not
planning any evil doing.

 

The Board meetings are conducted using a free web-based teleconferencing
system that we all call into.  If you join the association, you'll receive
an e-mail from me about a week before the call with the agenda and the
call-in information.

 

If I can get the Board to agree to let me post the call-in information
publicly, I will do that here.  I think the fear is that if we post it
publicly, we may get too many people, and the call would be impossible to
manage.  Still.I'd like to try and make it as open as we can. Regardless of
what happens, I'll keep you posted on my efforts.

Josh,  This may be a dumb question, but is the Nov 15 meeting open to
anyone?  If so, what is the time and where is it going to be held?  You have
a lot of silent supporters that would like to attend if possible.
