I have not seen anyone Criticize Josh.   They have criticized past
administrations and they way the club was run, and have been asking many him
questions.   Some he does not have the answers to yet, but has promised to
follow up on shortly.

Josh has done a great job already at STARTING to answer questions which is
something nobody else in the DOA has done (sorry Ken, but it is true.  Marc
brought up the fact that the questions Josh is now responding to were ones
that were asked by me and several other people multiple times, but went
unanswered by you)

Guys, 

 

Its great to see so much chatter about the DOA. However, its sad that so
many people are seeing this as an opportunity to criticize Josh and the
Owners Association. Its also sad that so many of the people criticizing are
not people who are members. Give this guy a chance! He's a good guy and has
a clear vision of the future. For those who are quick to criticizing,
remember, this is a volunteer organization. Josh and the others are donating
their time to help the Owners Association grow. There is only one way to
effect change, get involved. If you don't want to get involved, then don't
criticize. 

 

I resigned because I saw a conflict in what I am now doing for a living. I
think others will agree. I was approached by many people who wanted to take
over the DOA, Josh was by far the most qualified. If your going to do
anything, get behind him, show him your support and contribute. Otherwise,
leave him alone. I know, I've been there and have dealt with it for two
years. 

 

The board and Josh have asked me to stay involved. I will so long as we
don't see a conflict with my position within the DMC organization. Good Luck
Josh, I know you will do a good job.

Sorry to hear about the job situation Marc! Hope it doesn't last long!

We're at 3 magazines per year currently, and looking into the viability of
going back to the quarterly publications of old, if we can get enough
content.

What if the membership fee included a show discount for DCS 2010? I'll
discuss it with Ken, but I think something could be arranged.

Sorry Bud.. Recently unemployed, so I need to be more careful with my
money.. $75 a year for a magazine (I think it is 2 issues now?!) and a
discount on a events that have yet to be determined are just not worth it
for me.

As I said last year to Ken Baker, I am going to "wait and see".
