After 28 years my left side torsion bar decided to give up. One night last week about 10:30pm I heard a bang outside. I turned on the lights and looked around but didn't find anything. Saturday morning I went out to move the D and couldn't get the door open. The light bulb went off and I was able to lift the door from the bottom and my suspicion was correct. The bang I heard was the torsion bar snapping. I have seen some advertised by the group in the past but didn't think I'd need one but now I do. Does anyone have a left side torsion bar new or removed from a parts car? Please e-mail me offline if you have one or know where I might find one.
