Ther is no correlation between the Vin # and the engine seriel #. On most cars part of the vin # (usually the last digits) do correspond to each other, NOT on Deloreans. If you happen to have the ORIGINAL window sticker it would have the vin # AND the original engine #. I've just pulled my engine to take care of some oil leaks and some general cleanup and as I was scrubbing the ID tag on the engine I noticed that DeLorean serial number 002573 has a engine with serial number 002657. > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
