I once had the same issue, check the connections on the starter. Bet they aren't as tight as they should be, and check the battery as ahs been suggested. For the past year or so the D would have cold start issues so I ordered the Cold Start switch and it hasn't arrived yet. My dilemma stems from when I stupidly shut the car off at a very long light and when I went to start it the car wouldn't crank but the a/c fan, radio etc worked. After pushing the car to the side I tightened the battery posts but they were tight to begin with. I tried starting the car and she started right up which leads me to my question. Could this be symptoms of a starter on its way out? (Has original starter and car has 14000 original miles) Could there be a short in the battery or a problem with the positive terminal that I disconnect from time to time at car shows? This has only happened once but it's enough to cause concern. Is there anything else that I should be looking for?? Any suggestions are appreciated.
