It is common, especially for the origional sender unit. Always best to check your fuel level when the car is level and either stopped or moving at a constant velocity. For a more accurate estimation of fuel level you can cross-check against the trip odometer as long as you know your MPG and always reset it when you fill up. My gage was installed a year ago. When I move forward is shoots down, when I stop it shoots upward. It jumps up and down a full 1/4 tank until settling. Is this normal? In large trucks with huge gas tanks I've seen this but not in small cars. > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
