Harold, the idle system in the DeLorean is actually very effective when it works properly. The reason your idle doesn't change regardless of conditions is that the system is working perfectly. I've had to set up idle control on an aftermarket ECU and it's a real headache. So much so that I've evern contemplated retrofitting a DeLorean system to other cars!!
