Elvis, I have repaired about 40 Governors and 3 in the last 3 weeks and out of all those I had one that I had used the wrong components and wasn't given a chance to redo and one that blew a power xister and replaced that and no other complaints. I have not seen all the other reasons that others have talked about over the web to warrant new boards or new units. Maybe I have been lucky. Welmoed, don't send it to me and break my streak. After about 10 repaired Governors and almost 20 years of electronics experience I still don't get why jump starting would kill the governor ? Welmoed - the caps dry out - they are not even connected to the 12V system !
