[DML] DCS09Prelude More fun scheduled before the DCS West 09 Event

The DCS09Prelude is only 22 week away! The DCS09Prelude.com website
  is being updated with more info, maps, and low cost things to do. Our
  plans are to have a great time and lots of fun for less than $100 per
  person per day including hotels.

  We have decided to move to tech Session to Sunday Sept 20.
  This way people who may be driving in on Saturday, will have Sunday
  (and Mon-Wed) if they have any repairs to do to their cars.

  Lodging recommendations: Saturday-Sunday book at the Golden Nugget and
  experience one of the best water slides/hotel pools in the world.  Swim
  with the Sharks!  $99/night.  Note: You can stay at less expensive
  hotels, if you don't want to experience this really cool pool.

  Saturday (Sept 20)
  Cars and Coffee in Henderson, NV in the am
  Meeting with the Las Vegas Electric Vehicle Association 
  Pot Luck Lunch at our house
  Group Dinner - location TBD (suggestions ?)(2 for 1 coupons at a
  Casino?) Average.  $6 per person all you can eat!   

  Sunday  (Sept 21)
  Tech Session later that day at our house 
  Springs Preserve Tour ($19 per person for entire facility and $6
  donation for gardens only)
  LUNCH AT TOP OF THE WORLD?
  Group Dinner - location TBD (suggestions ?)  

  Lodging recommendations: Monday-Wednesday.  Stay at the Golden Nugget
  or move to other hotels with Room rates of $59 per night. (e. g.
  Orleans)

  Monday  (Sept 22)
  Tour of Water Dept. Hydrogen Car Facility and Solar Generation Facility
  LUNCH - Sonic drive Inn on Charleston
  Atomic Testing Museum and/or Ethel M's Chocolate Factory and Cactus
  Garden
  50's Diner Dinner and Car Show in Summerlin?

  Tuesday  (Sept 23)
  Driving Tour to possibly include 1 - 2 private car collections
  (Coordinated by Rob Rooney)
  LUNCH - Star Trek Quarks Neonopolis (if it is open) or Irish pub
  outdoor fire pit seating area (across from Neonopolis)
  Malibu Racing / Pole Position Racing
  Group Dinner - 2 for 1 Buffet coupons or other location suggestions?
  Average.  $6 per person all you can eat!  (alt. ROXIE'S DINER AT THE
  STRATOSPHERE ?)

  Wednesday  (Sept 24)
  Greet people driving in from LA, etc. - hang out at our house.
  BTTF BBQ and Pool Party

  Thursday-Sunday  Attend DCS 09 West.
  and/or other events on the DCS 09 Prelude Website.
