Do the doors raise on the existing mechanism?>> Wings Aloft works great. You need the willingness to get into your electric compartment and cut and splice, but Toby is very good about tech support, and it has full instructions. The only "but" is the fact that it cannot fix badly adjusted doors. If your doors won't operate correctly, don't have enough life left in your door lift struts for instance, it won't make them open properly. It locks/unlocks or unlatches the door latch internally. It doesn't lift the door itself. The Torsion Bar and Lift Struts need to do that. I've had Wings Aloft on my D for several years and am very happy with it. Be careful that you don't press the "lock" button with a door open. That's true of any DeLorean with the factory designed lock setup. After much research I modified my locks to prevent that issue. And I'm very happy with that mod too! :-) And it costs nothing but some of your time. Wayne A. Ernst vin 11174 **************Feeling the pinch at the grocery store? Make meals for Under $10.
