Never could know the real speed, if I didn't have my nav system in the car. Even after DMCH did grease the angle drive. Bouncing is gone now, after I have greased the lower and upper cable. So you may want to do that first. I used bicycle bearing grease which is softer than bearing grease for cars. You could try that.
