If you think the 4 cylinder Lotus is incredible, try the V-8 Esprit from '99 to '04. It combines the top end of a high, fast winding 4 cyl with the low end "grunt" (read torque) of a twin turbo V-8 with full EMM. I like to think it has the performance a Delorean would have had if production had continued. Yes, the Lotus windscreens are NOT interchangable with Deloreans. In fact, precious few parts are similar. Even the K-Jet fuel system has very little in common.
