The later style Bosch pumps worked very well, both the NOS and the ones made in West Germany. A few years back they moved production to Czechoslovakia and quality dropped dramatically. At that time we began offering an aftermarket version of this pump. We've since sold hundreds of these, and the only failures we see on these are the same we saw with the German Bosch ones - ones contaminated by poorly cleaned tanks. Though we still offer the OEM (Czech made) Bosch pumps, we recommend the aftermarket pump: http://www.delorean.com/store/p-6558-fuel-pump-aftermarket.aspx James Espey DMC (Texas) http://www.delorean.com --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "deloreannyny" <deloreannyny@...> wrote: > > I am familiar with the Bosch pump and the pump offered by vendors > including the WALBRO GSL392 that John Hervey calls the power pump but I > was wondering if anyone has tried other pumps and not only if they work > but if they have worked over an extended period of time.
