[DML] DeLorean World Magazine and DCS

I thank most of you for your positive acceptance that DeLorean World (DOA) and DCS are working together and will in the future.
This has been a good discussion and many of you know what we are going through right now with the tough times.  We saw it at Gettysburg and in magazine sales. This is not to panic anyone or anything else as it was members of the list that brought up the subject.  Just a chance for us to express our opinion.

I did get some negative feedback and maybe I worded it wrong but I was just briefly going over the facts of how and when  DCS magazine got started.
I mentioned John Truscott and with his wife Joan they have been in the community forever.  We have been friends for all this time and the decision at that time made DCS grow and now has led us to where we are today and that is back again working together.  The Truscotts were my guests of honor so to speak at Chicago and they drove out there.  Joan is now doing the driving tour poker run for Vegas and we are all doing what we have been talking about and that is working together.  By the way the DOA has participated in some manner in all DCS shows.

Times change the facts of the past or the mystery of the past are in the past.  Most of you responding to that understood and have been supportive of the two groups now working together. What makes it interesting today is that the representation is now not just localized but it is all over so there are a lot more inputs with different ideas. This includes DCS.  (Remember I am the dictator from Cincinnati :-)   )but we now have support out west (Ken M and his group and the west component of the DOA) and in the south (The Florida group joining in and the DOA ) in addition to the help in the Midwest and east coast (you all know who you are)  and we have support of the vendors. In the early shows it was pretty much me and my family and spotty help and now this last bridge we have the support of the DOA and they have our support.

DCS was formed with the idea that all groups can work together and you have all helped me reach that goal.
The vendors, magazines, local groups etc all support DCS and DCS will support all groups.
So help us work together and make the next set of shows the best the DeLorean Community has ever seen and remember the magazines. (shameless plug)

A special thanks to Ken Baker for sticking it out. (I read the posts) I know its been a tough road but its time now to see what good we all can do. Remember pretty much everyone is a volunteer and if they work for a vendor as a living they are living their dream and the work the do at the shows is also volunteer.
