I just wanted to thank all the people and Deloreans who made their way to the Parade this year. The turnout was huge. Judging by the comments I heard and continue to hear this week the crowds were amazed and excited to see our cars rolling down the parade route two wide. I think everyone had a great time coming out and getting together which is what Delorean ownership is all about. I will tape the TV broadcast when it airs and get it posted. There was a write up in the local paper this week as well with a nice picture of Tom Mancino's car. Here is a link to an online version of the article in The Sandpaper on page 36 http://www.thesandpaper.net/SandPape...per_page36.htm Great picture of Tom Mancino and his car on the following page 37 here. http://www.thesandpaper.net/SandPape...per_page37.htm Great caption too by that photo that reads "One Delorean makes a statement any time of year; a parade of them is a perennial show- stopper." I think that pretty much summed up the day and the crowds reaction. Thanks again to all who attended and hopefully see you soon! We had a great time and the weather this year wasn't as cold as years past (or so I was told!). Poor Gary, he had the job of "herding cats" so to speak, making sure we were all lined up right and everyone knew where to go. With the cold weather he also had the problem of finding rest rooms all the time for everyone. This event, unlike most others, was not based out of any fixed location so Gary had to keep everyone together, not an easy task. He did manage to make it work well. For an event that is not "club sponsored", just an informal gathering of a bunch of Delorean owners, it turned out to have a large turn-out. > David Teitelbaum > vin 10757 ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
