There's a switch that is activated by the brake pedal. Plunger type that has a button that extends when the pedal is pushed. Remove and replace. Take it to a parts store and don't tell them what it came out of, just get one like it. John has them for $8.95, no picture though. To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Thursday, October 23, 2008, 9:50 PM The brake lights on my car don't work. They worked fine yesterday. Today I get in and they flat out will not come on when the brake is pressed. All other lights (int and ext) work fine, including all lights in the tail light assembly. Changed fuse and still doesn't work. What could be wrong? Too dangerous to drive with no brake lights.
