I tend to agree. The factory spec of one hour(?) is way to low, that will find a profoundly bad one (maybe that's all they were dealing with in 1981). When we build up a new fuel system on a car and retest it, it will hold pressure overnight. I've seen them hold as much as 20 pounds over a weekend. I see quite a few that will hold for an hour or two and then go to zero, in all likelihood those should be replaced now unless something else is leaking too.
