Hi Royce, On all of the DeLoreans I own(ed) and the ones I have been driving there is a soft sound, like a spin-up sound of an electric motor (the pump), for a short period of time. You can hear this clearly in a silent environment. I guess other readers will confirm this. The click you hear is most likely the (RPM) relay.
