Group, Excuse me, When I understand someone to say they can make a mold for $5.00 I think everyone knows you can't even open the door to your house or car today in this environment with the war and energy prices for $5.00. I also understand that when my next batch of the new DeLorean air filters are made the more I make the lower the cost and the lower the tooling cost will be and it will be amortized down to maybe .25 cents ea or less. I know I can get off on a soap box about thing's but why make a stupid statement that you can make a mold for $5.00 when what your trying to do is criticize me for what I'm trying to for the DeLorean parts world. Besides, what difference does it make what I pay to make a mold for if I can sell the better part for 1/5th the cost for what others are asking. I can sell the parts for cost if I want to. Remember I'm not part of the Cartel that tells others what they have to sell it for. John, I guess the fuel pump thread got you all worked up. Take it easy! No, I do not work for $5 or $7 an hour. No machine shop here will work for that amount. I'm in Poland, not some third world country where people make 1 cent an hour. I don't know exactly how those molds are made. I will try to find out, though. I know that they are not machined. There must be an easier way. The company that will be making the bushings for me is not some "shade tree mechanic" type business. And they have a way of making the molds cheaper than the final product... and it makes sense! Tom Niemczewski vin 6149 (in Poland!)
