Chris, Over here years ago the public always wondered why Chrysler cars had a longer warranty over GM and others automobile manufactures and the answer was " they needed it". It's a way to speed up getting into the market or growing your market share faster. If I'm not mistaken KIA is now doing the same thing with 100,000 mile warranty. There getting better but they are buying their way in. The Roller cell pumps we use in our cars are no longer made in Germany and are also made by several companies around the world. The German Bosch pump if you bought one new today would be around $200.00 dollars and not made in Germany. Bosch has made their money and tooling cost has long gone and now they are thrown together by several companies around the world. Now you have all these companies wanting to buy their way into the aftermarket business and one way they do it with warranty. That's where we are now. A not so good pump and everyone wanting a piece of the aftermarket business so they offer a longer warranty or a different price instead of warranty. The new Power Pump is a new technology and are not a 30 year old roller cell pump and that is why they don't need a longer warranty. What I say on the web site Bosch and others can't say it. New technology, CNC made in the good old USA, their good. Why does the 'power' pump cost nearly double the other fuel pump you sell and only have a 90 day warranty?
