Driven regularly as a second car, it was laid up for 16 years with 2350 miles on it. I resurrected it in 2001. It maintains rest pressure without issue . Being -my- car, I'd be happy to just keep going until it failed, and replace. I have had a NOS accumulator fail catastrophically (the fuel pump could not maintain pressure) after only a few hundred miles. Both these cases are rare though!
