Yes. Rugged as they are there is a small nitrile seal around the top. If the case ( bottom part ) around the top gets a little out of round for some reason then it will leak. Also twisting the lower part of the case when trying to tighten down on the check valve or banjo bolt can also cause the seal to seep. You may not even know that your twisting the case in doing the above.
