Tiff,

Ken and I have talked about pre show activities for years.  We were 
going to do lots of things in
Chicago, until the Corvette "take over" of the hotel messed things up.  
You were involved in the very early planning for the pre show events in 
Chicago.

Ken specifically has stated that he does not have the time to deal with 
anything before or
after the show.   And Ken is absolutely right.   He is so busy at the 
shows, he almost does not sleep for
3 days.   He also does not need the added burden of trying to 
coordinate constant additions and
updates to his website.

Hence, www.DCS09Prelude.com,  and the associated blog and the "self" 
organized get togethers are being kept separate.

We could not do a pre show thing for Gettysburg, because we don't live 
there and don't know the area.

However, LV is a favorite spot for us with lots of friends and things 
to do and we don't gamble.  So we are trying
to make LV a great show with much more time for socializing.   If we 
really want to
build a better relationship with the west coast D owners, this is 
perfect way to provide more
socialization time.

We welcome any additions or comments people want to make to the site or 
volunteers
to coordinate a "pre" event.  Are you volunteering?
