Mike, You can remove preload shims to remove a small amount of play in the bearings but is common for the wear to necessitate reconditioning or replacement. I took a look at it this afternoon and there is no hint of play in the steering column u-joints. It's all in the rack. Is there an adjustment I can do to reduce the play or am I looking at a rack rebuild/replace? -- Mike [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] No virus found in this incoming message.
