Was the rotor still keyed to the shaft, or had the plastic key ground away? -----Original Message----- From: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx on behalf of Farrar Sent: Tue 6/24/2008 10:03 AM To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [DML] Farrar's distrubutor - theory. The engine did die, but I re-started it and drove for a few more seconds to help get the car off the road. Not sure if it goes with your theory or not. I have considered the possibility that the distributor itself failed in some way. If so, that would be convenient, since I have to replace the distributor anyway. :-) Cheers, Farrar Hudkins #2613 "Sparky" [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
