Ok now that the show is over and I have had a week almost to recover and this time I needed it I slept half of today. Checked the photos of licence plates 1st batch netted 138 2nd go around netted 11 more these were parked around the hotel Late in the day and we missed them earlier. so that is 149 3 more on Sunday that we missed so that is 152 Dan Harris e-mailed me two more making 154 and I have three shot from the front because they were backed in and none had front plates. I am sure we may have missed a few but for this show I will go with 157 DeLoreans This is a new record and beat out Chicago by I think 3 or 4 Congratulations to all of you. We had two electric DeLoreans a first. Thanks Bob and Dave. We had Pilot 21 before restoration We had a DeLorean Tow tug ( the big yellow thing in the convention center great for removing hand rails LOL) We had the Tellis carrier sorry I did not have time to drive it around we will do that in Lexington. The museum was a big hit with many of you and we found the fairy tree that had been talked about for years. Traffic was even and steady. BTTF put on a great display and it showed me that BTTF is a good draw for the show. The Electric car / Ryan Brandys car room also was full most of the time with a constant flow showing that you prefer the break out rooms to the vendor tables we need to look at this different for 2010 I think you prefer this format but its hard for me to tell you when they are open. The small break out room worked well and we will do more like that. People wise we had 564 people register Roughly 540 had at least one dinner the max at any dinner was 456 and that was Sat Many of you came Thursday and did either Friday or Sat and a number of Families did Thursday and only one member or two went on to do other days. We had 400 on Thursday for dinner including Bricklin people. We had 415 on Friday for dinner. Saturday we had 456 these did not break any records/ Approximately 200 of you had breakfast at the hotel each morning. We will do a special buffet the same in Lexington. The record we did break was for registrations that did not do all three days. Many of you did your own sightseeing or were affected by gas prices and cut it short (emails) We had the largest amount of space we ever had for an event at 86,000 sq ft. including both buildings. We did 2 (TWO) ariel shots a first BY THE WAY if you ordered an Ariel shot you will get a print of the second on we did and a electronic copy of the first one so you will actually get two pics for your money. We will only print the one. This was the first show I got to sit down on Friday and actually eat dinner completely. We had the most guests ever at a show here this time. I hope you enjoyed the guests because we will not do as many in future shows due to cost and time constraints. We had the most former DMC employees at a show with the 4 we brought in 3 from Ireland. We had the Most BTTF people ever at a show with 5 Plus the other guests like Lee Merriweather I hope you had time to talk to her. Hope you enjoyed the larger screens and audio minus a few squeeks. Thanks to Cliff you all could see and hear this year. We had a balloon DeLorean No where have you seen that before and there was nothing quite like it to see it as two rather shall we say happy bar patrons took it for a midnight drive through the halls of the hotel. Unfortunately security stopped them as they were trying to throw it into the pool. It took again 4 to 6 people to throw me in the pool at 1 AM Dan is making this a tradition I think. How long did it take you LOL. Got tired just waiting to get wet. It took just one DCS host (me) to throw Tiffany in (she is threatening revenge can't wait) We had a fabulous BUS tour. This scared me to death to do. It worked out just great from what I understand the morning tour had about 120 of you go and the afternoon tour had around 90 so the numbers were fine and we will do it again in Lexington. There will be more but thank all of you for making Gettysburg great. This will I think go down as the best DCS to date it was surely my favorite besides that I started it off with a bang so to speak. We have a laptop case that we found so if you are missing one we have it Also I am missing the 32" Olevia Television that was in the Robert E Lee room we have not found it yet.
