The DML is a reasonable place to have this discussion as long as we stay civil, constructive, on-topic, and first-person. If we don't stay civil, constructive, and on-topic, I could certainly see why Ken would prefer to move the discussion elsewhere. The first-person limitation is there to avoid propagating rumors as facts. If something happened to you, reporting it here is fair game. If you heard if from your 2nd cousin's sister's boyfriend, it's not. There is room for a lot of different organizations within the DeLorean community. It is up to the individuals in the community to decide which organizations provide value to them and whether or not the value is worth the cost of joining. As always, the DML moderators will strive to be impartial and keep the debate civil, constructive and on-track. No matter what the outcome, any organization in the community is welcome to participate here on the list. -- Mike (DML & DMC News owner, former DOA member) -------------- Original message from "Mike S." <drivestainless@xxxxxxxxx>: -------------- > Kevin Abato wrote: > > > The topic is relevant to the Delorean community > > as a whole, and should not be moved OFF the DML > > to a separate forum owned and operated by the DOA > > (subject to their rules, interpretations, and > > moderation) > > Kevin, as this week's DML moderator I am flattered at your confidence > in my editorial fairness.
