In September of 1984 I applied for and was granted a state exemption for not showing a front license plate. Front & rear plates are mandatory in Washington. Dated June 18, 2008 I received a letter from the Washington State Patrol who issued the exemption stating that said exemption was being rescinded. As a reason for this rescinding was a downloaded copy of a PJ Grady WEB site that shows Item # 108025GS FRONT LICENSE BRACKET, GRAINED STAINLESS. Unit price of $34.50 Add to cart. On the back side of this downloaded WEB site page was a picture of a DeLorean with a front license plate mounted. Now I'm certain Rob did not contact the Washington State Patrol to advise them that I had the said exemption or that maybe by doing so he could sell one more unit. On the other hand, you mean to tell me that some one at Washington State Patrol has the time to search the WEB to come up with trivia like this just to rescind my granted exemption? Strange but I'm buying none of it. No front plate for me, yet!!! Arnie Brandon #6292 since 1982 that tows the original DeLorean trailer.
