I am a little disturbed by the recent posts talking about infighting, and disrespect within the community... Because it is simply NOT TRUE. Having met most of the "players" in person, maybe I have a different perspective on the matter? I don't see anyone being disrespectful. I see some intelligent DeLorean fanatics having a discussion of opinions and merits on a topic a number of people are interested in discussing and reading about. Even those that are vocal on their opinion that Carburation is a bad idea have never said or implied that Bill is not free to do whatever he wants with his own property. It would however be a disservice for those with opposing views to stay silent. By leaving the DML, or choosing to not participate in DCS (especially over this silly discussion), you will only be denying yourself the best "fix" for the DeLorean addiction. Maybe past DCS participants can chime in on this? I think Bill is being unfair in his representation of what goes on at DCS. He has never been treated as a second class citizen, and was displaying his car outside BY CHOICE. If specific people at the show did not treat him well, that by no means represents the show or the majority of the participants. Don't let a a few bad apples spoil the bunch. Clearly Bill does not feel all that bad about it because he continues to participate in both the DML, and DCS. I look forward to seeing him and his car (again) next month, along with EVERYONE else. As an aside, if you are going to DCS and have decided to not display you car inside this will only serve to make sure that future shows are no longer indoors. There is a significant expense to getting space for an indoor car show, and if the support for it is not there, why spend the money on it? Remember, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE JUDGED TO DISPLAY YOUR CAR INSIDE!! And if it is 100 degrees outside, or raining, it will be the best $15 you ever spent! ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
