First of all IMHO it is NOT the "best" way to go converting to -134. As long as R-12 or it's drop-in replacements are available it is still better to stay with the origional system. If you are dead-set to converting, then unless you know what you are doing and have the proper equipment to do it, you should take the car to a shop that has experience at, and knows how to do it. A proper conversion involves removing all of the origional refrigerent, oil, seals, dryer, service valves, and labels. Testing for leaks, pulling a hard vacuum for an extended period of time, and a through operational test. Even with all of that you WILL lose between 10%-20% of your cooling capacity. Most of the time you will not notice it but when it is REALLY hot you will.
