Hi everyone... I love this weather - perfect for a nice leisurely drive! But before I can do that...... I'm wondering if anybody has a working window motor (DRIVER/LEFT side) they want to part with? Just the worm-gear motor itself would be fine, as long as it works. Or I can take the whole motor/assembly if that's easier: maybe you have an unusable regulator lying around, but the motor is still OK? Just thought I'd ask the list here before I order a replacement regulator assembly. I really want to avoid replacing the whole regulator assembly, as it looks like a nasty job to do. If I could just replace the worm-gear motor itself, that should do the trick. I've already removed the motor from the assembly, and it should be easy enough to re-gasket & replace with a working motor, thus avoiding all the hassles of removing the regulator frame, etc. Incidentally, does anybody have or can anybody point me to a "how-to" on this? my manuals are at my mechanic's place at the moment, and I'd like to rad-up a bit just in case I go that route... Please contact me off-list if you can help me out & thanks in advance! - ed ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
