Martin: I have been using John' cross drilled rotors on 3300 and Dot 5 (after draining and flushing the dot3) Brakes are so much better after the complete go through. I can attest after using the dot 5 since 2005 that it works great with no problems whatsoever!. Only complaint is that the cross drilled rotors are loud (even when not braking!) kind of hard to get used to Rodney 3300 10544 On 4/16/08, Martin Gutkowski <martin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > Quoting John Hervey <john@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx <john%40specialtauto.com>>: > > > I have DOT5 or silicone brake / clutch fluid in stock. > > John Hervey > > www.deloreanautoparts.com > > > > DOT 5 is not designed to mix with DOT 3 and 4 and our system is to old > to work with dot 5. > > There is a dot 5.1 over here which is a clear silicone based fluid > designed for older systems and can be mixed with dot 3 and 4. > > Martin > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
