Rumours are incorrect. There is an OEM one available from Renault with allows the "lip" to go in a different place in case the crank has a groove worn in it, but they are about 6 times the price of an aftermarket/Volvo one. In fact over here at least, the rear main is cheaper than the smaller front main seal. I have recently fitted one of John's double lip seals to a 2.5 turbo engine I have just built. So far in testing and mapping, it hasn't leaked a drop. I've seen a brand new crate 3.0 turbo PRV leaking like a seive, and most of the Z7U engines I've seen (the 2.5 turbo) have been wet around the rear main.
