I have done a clutch job on my back with 4 jack stands by my self... I would have liked an extra person and a tranny jack. It is not a hard job. It is time consuming. I did it in about 8 hours. If I were doing it again I could do it in 6. To be honest the hardest part was those two stupid plates that go behind the flywheel and bold to the bell housing. To get those off it is wise to loosen thy motor mounts and lifting the engine a bit. You will also need no less than 3 extensions of varying lengths and at least 2 universal joints. Some are easier to get from the front of the engine by routing above the cat. It is a job that is beyond most novice mechanics but for someone who has worked on cars it is not a big deal. Be sure that what ever shop you take it to knows that those plates must come off first.
