Thanks Tom, This is what I was saying before. At least you understand the point. Of coarse in a perfect world the KEY will open the door manually without assistance and usually does. But because this is a Delorean, The only production car that I know of that has two door latches and a complicated locking system, All bets are off. I have experienced exactly what you described. Once the the system was powered back up, it functioned properly.
